Here's the latest. *Official* Haunted Mansion Gate Plaques should be on sale the week after Halloween at Disneyland. They'll be in the Disneyana Store on Main St., and in the Disney Gallery in NOS. Limited to 999. The cool thing? They include a little chip that plays a little digitized bit of Paul Frees as the Ghost Host. The guy behind these licensed plaques tells me that he thinks they'll be around $300. Get one while you can (but save one for me, would ya?)

I'm off to LA: Gonna ride the HM Holiday tomorrow (finally!) Maybe I'll see some of you there; I'll be the guy in the mustard-yellow T shirt with glasses and a goatee. Bye!
